HK/ Macau/ Zhuhai

Just came back from aboard last Thursday. Went on a 5D4N package tour with my mom for new year. Total about $1000+ per person. Macau was very nice! Not like there's a lot of shopping place. In fact, the only place that I shopped at in Macau was confectionery shop. Ha. I love Macau for it's buildings! Very beautiful and very Portuguese. Another thing that Macau is famous for is the Casino. I went to like 3 casinos and got checked for my ID every time I wanna go in. Don't know if I should be happy or what. Ha. By the way, Macau hotel rooms are soooo small!

Here's a picture of a view from my hotel room.

Night view on Macau streets.
Artistic ma? I took with Satio. So nice!

he Cha Siew! My favorite one like ever!
*Slurrrrp* And the Mango Xiao wan zi's Mango is very fresh too!

1 of the Mermaid video that I took outside one of the Casino. I love mermaids!

I think I love hong kong the best! Haha. The streets are safer, and the food is tastier!! Most importantly definitely a better place to shop at! Actually Zhuhai got great food too, but HK got more varieties. =D Went to the Cha Chang ting on the last day. Like finally! That’s the bad thing about following a tour. I miss the Dim sum and Cha siew!! So unlike Singapore’s one. Which is dyed red. It’s really delicious! *Slurrrp*

I’ll definitely go to HK again, but next time won’t follow tour again! Because they’ll just bring you to places that they want you to go. Which would be usually places like jewel centre, silk product centre etc etc. My mom spent SGD$2500 just on silk blankets. Sooo.. if you really want to get things that you want then don’t go on tour. =P

LQ's Cupcake Surprise!

Sobz. Who can help me with my matrices, complex numbers, difference equation and differential equation? Math never make any sense to me. =(

Went Chengjia's friend, Jocelyn's place to bake cupcakes on Tues. It didn't take as long as I thought. The whole baking process took us less than 2 hours, and that includes making the frosting. Ha. I took the recipe off the internet but I think it taste pretty good! Haha.

Choco Cupcake Recipe:

1/2 cup (1 stick) butter, room temp

1-1/4 cups sugar

2 large eggs, room temp

3/4 cup flour

1/2 teaspoon baking powder

1/4 teaspoon baking soda

1/4 teaspoon salt

1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder

1/2 cup milk

1 teaspoons vanilla

1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.

2. Beat butter until softened. Add sugar and beat until light and fluffy, about 3 minutes.

3. Add eggs, one at a time, beating until well combined.

4. Measure the flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and cocoa powder into a small sized bowl and whisk to combine.

5. Measure out the milk and vanilla and stir to combine

6. Add about a third of the dry ingredients to the butter/sugar and beat to combine. Add about a half of the milk/vanilla and beat to combine. Continue adding, alternating between dry and wet and finishing with the dry.

7. Scoop batter into cupcake cups about 2/3’s full. Turn oven down to 350 degrees and bake cupcakes for about 22-25 minutes or until a cake tester comes out clean.

We made cheesybutter frosting and decor with hearts/ M&M chocolates etc. Hmm.. Don't look too nice but stillllllllllll I think we deserve all the compliments. Ha.

Anyway, I wanted to give WL a surprise on probably today because I'll be going HK/Macau on sunday and that means no Valentine's Day. But then~ all thanks to him~ there isn't any more surprise. Sob sob. I meet him for dinner after the baking session. I was planning to go home to put the stuffs first but he reach Causeway so fast that I don't have a chance to do so. =( I managed to hide it from his sight for around 1/2 hour until he saw it when I went to withdraw money. Arghh!! Qi si ren!

Did I mention that we played monopoly deal after baking the cupcakes? It's surprisingly fun! Saw the game but didn't thought of trying because I thought it would be the same as the traditional monopoly game. Ha. But it's totally different! Anyway.... I got the game today at Metro. Haha. Always so fast in getting play stuffs. Hur hur!

Dramas & more dramas!! Movies & more movies!!

I've watching movies and dramas these past few weeks. Woo~~!! Alot of nice shows that I've missed and not so nice shows that I won't watch in the cinema. But ya.. Really enjoys it! Love nua-ing and watching show. Currently in the midst of watching a TVB drama called "宫心计". Lotsa schemes and politics. I'm so pissed how come the most evil person always won't die. Like that eunuch guy in the show... killed the late emperor and even try to control the new one. ZZZZ. But okay lah.... after all he won't have happy father's day. So can forgive him. Haha. But tudou lately don't know why... load so slow... watch a 43minutes video takes me like 1 and half hour of time. And that includes constant closing and opening new browsers. Gonna puke blood soon!!!
