Cinderella's sister/ Cinderella Unni

Hmmm.. have been watching this korean drama these 2 weeks. The storyline is pretty different, because this time it's the female lead who seemed to be the 'bad' guy. Cry till I can't open my eyes properly the next morning. =.=... Especially the episode where the stepfather passed away and she tried to call him father. Because she don't have a father.. and she grew up in a very harsh environment... making it difficult for her to show her affection for the people she love. I think Moon Geun Young is the girl from Autumn's Tale. Nice nice. Can watch.

Anyway... I love this new song by Anthony Neely. They say it's a 负心汉's song. Haha. =P

Friends

Hmmm... sometimes I wonder how people define 'friends'. Cos I've suddenly got 'good' friends who don't even say hi to me anymore. So sad right. Thought we used to be the closer ones.

Of course there are some who are always there. Though we don't always have time to see each other but always try to make the effort for a meet up or something.

I think it really takes time to see who your true friends are. For example, I know this person whom I don't really have good feelings about. Find that person irritating and such. But in the end they are the one giving you support and don't ask for anything in return. Why?

Looks like I must wash my eyes next time when I make friends hur hur. =.=''

If you don't care about my friendship, I won't be bothered too. =) So goodbye to you.

A Boring Holiday

So bored!! Guess it's time to lower my expectations on my vacation job. Hur hur. Rejected like 10 positions as of today! OMG. Not that I'm picky, but all of the jobs are either $7 admin positions or customer service. Except for one, which I kinda regret rejecting. Haha. $7/hr too, but at least is accounts assistant, the kinda job I wanna find. But seriously, $7 an hour is really low.... =(

Let's say 5 days work week, 8 hours a day. Then normally there are 21 weekdays a month. So $7*8*21= $1176. After CPF, take home is only a pathetic $940.80. NoooooOOooooo!!!

Give me at least $8+/hr plssssssssssss. Haha. At least my last drawn vacation job was $1700. Hai. And I totally don't mind working 5.5 days plus OT! Because working longer hours would mean higher pay. Hur hur!! =D Maybe I should try to ask for higher pay instead of rejecting straight away.

Only went for 2 interviews and both sucks!! Not that I suck. But they suck!! BIG TIME! Hahaha. Seriously~ the first one is with Recruit Express (RE). Anyway, never go for RE interviews! It's a waste of time. I applied for this accounts assistant position online by RE. I only applied because it's written in the requirements that "Those with no experience but take Principles of Accounts before may apply". And I was like. Yay!! That's me! I took POA for O'levels, Diploma and University. And got like distinction for the first 2 and still waiting for results for University. I understand that if there's people with experience and the qualification would surely stand a better chance. But I just wanna take a chance, and give it a try.

I was damn happy when I receive "THE " call from RE. That would mean I'm given a chance for interview right right? I even prepare my certificates etc. =/ But nooo! Apparently they only ask me down for an interview with them, RE. And there's no specific position. I was so pissed. I stated clearly in the email and resume my period of availability etc. But they didn't bother to read! If it's not for the Accounts Assistant position they should at least tell me through the phone! For example, "sorry but the position is not available anymore, but we've got other positions for you, would you like to come down for an interview?' Not con us down, den waste our time.

I waited like 1/2 hour for the interview. I wonder how they arrange because they fit 2 candidates for the same slot. =.= During the interview, she introduced an admin position which requires me to commit for 4 months. It's like... =.= You mean you never read my e-mail? Then when I asked about the position that I'm interviewing for... she's like "you got accounting experience?" I clarified that the requirements states otherwise. Arghhhhh!! So you think I'm not suitable then ask me down for what? Anyway, I'm not the only one complaining about RE. Because my sister and some friends also kenna the same thing.

Another thing, if people call you about an assist manager with sales and marketing job, be prepared to do MLM. =)

Exams....

Can’t believe exam’s around the corner! Sobz. And the papers are all cramped on consecutive days. Why why why!??! The day before each exam is always so important to me, because I always study last minute. Haha. Not that I don’t want to start early, but I just can’t get settled down. I believe I’m not the only one with such problem ya?

Got back some of my prelim results already. Failed my management math. Oh mannnnnnnnn!!! But okay though… At least it’s double digit, I thought I would be getting a single digit. Muahaha! Argh!! Somebody help me plsssssssssss! Math is just so not my kinda thing.

Can’t wait for my exams to end… and then it would be the long waited oversea trips. Teehee.

HK/ Macau/ Zhuhai

Just came back from aboard last Thursday. Went on a 5D4N package tour with my mom for new year. Total about $1000+ per person. Macau was very nice! Not like there's a lot of shopping place. In fact, the only place that I shopped at in Macau was confectionery shop. Ha. I love Macau for it's buildings! Very beautiful and very Portuguese. Another thing that Macau is famous for is the Casino. I went to like 3 casinos and got checked for my ID every time I wanna go in. Don't know if I should be happy or what. Ha. By the way, Macau hotel rooms are soooo small!

Here's a picture of a view from my hotel room.

Night view on Macau streets.
Artistic ma? I took with Satio. So nice!
Ha. =D

Roasted Goose from Cha Chang Ting

he Cha Siew! My favorite one like ever!
*Slurrrrp* And the Mango Xiao wan zi's Mango is very fresh too!

1 of the Mermaid video that I took outside one of the Casino. I love mermaids!

I think I love hong kong the best! Haha. The streets are safer, and the food is tastier!! Most importantly definitely a better place to shop at! Actually Zhuhai got great food too, but HK got more varieties. =D Went to the Cha Chang ting on the last day. Like finally! That’s the bad thing about following a tour. I miss the Dim sum and Cha siew!! So unlike Singapore’s one. Which is dyed red. It’s really delicious! *Slurrrp*

I’ll definitely go to HK again, but next time won’t follow tour again! Because they’ll just bring you to places that they want you to go. Which would be usually places like jewel centre, silk product centre etc etc. My mom spent SGD$2500 just on silk blankets. Sooo.. if you really want to get things that you want then don’t go on tour. =P

LQ's Cupcake Surprise!

Sobz. Who can help me with my matrices, complex numbers, difference equation and differential equation? Math never make any sense to me. =(

Went Chengjia's friend, Jocelyn's place to bake cupcakes on Tues. It didn't take as long as I thought. The whole baking process took us less than 2 hours, and that includes making the frosting. Ha. I took the recipe off the internet but I think it taste pretty good! Haha.

Choco Cupcake Recipe:

1/2 cup (1 stick) butter, room temp

1-1/4 cups sugar

2 large eggs, room temp

3/4 cup flour

1/2 teaspoon baking powder

1/4 teaspoon baking soda

1/4 teaspoon salt

1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder

1/2 cup milk

1 teaspoons vanilla

1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.

2. Beat butter until softened. Add sugar and beat until light and fluffy, about 3 minutes.

3. Add eggs, one at a time, beating until well combined.

4. Measure the flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and cocoa powder into a small sized bowl and whisk to combine.

5. Measure out the milk and vanilla and stir to combine

6. Add about a third of the dry ingredients to the butter/sugar and beat to combine. Add about a half of the milk/vanilla and beat to combine. Continue adding, alternating between dry and wet and finishing with the dry.

7. Scoop batter into cupcake cups about 2/3’s full. Turn oven down to 350 degrees and bake cupcakes for about 22-25 minutes or until a cake tester comes out clean.

We made cheesybutter frosting and decor with hearts/ M&M chocolates etc. Hmm.. Don't look too nice but stillllllllllll I think we deserve all the compliments. Ha.

Anyway, I wanted to give WL a surprise on probably today because I'll be going HK/Macau on sunday and that means no Valentine's Day. But then~ all thanks to him~ there isn't any more surprise. Sob sob. I meet him for dinner after the baking session. I was planning to go home to put the stuffs first but he reach Causeway so fast that I don't have a chance to do so. =( I managed to hide it from his sight for around 1/2 hour until he saw it when I went to withdraw money. Arghh!! Qi si ren!

Did I mention that we played monopoly deal after baking the cupcakes? It's surprisingly fun! Saw the game but didn't thought of trying because I thought it would be the same as the traditional monopoly game. Ha. But it's totally different! Anyway.... I got the game today at Metro. Haha. Always so fast in getting play stuffs. Hur hur!

Dramas & more dramas!! Movies & more movies!!

I've watching movies and dramas these past few weeks. Woo~~!! Alot of nice shows that I've missed and not so nice shows that I won't watch in the cinema. But ya.. Really enjoys it! Love nua-ing and watching show. Currently in the midst of watching a TVB drama called "宫心计". Lotsa schemes and politics. I'm so pissed how come the most evil person always won't die. Like that eunuch guy in the show... killed the late emperor and even try to control the new one. ZZZZ. But okay lah.... after all he won't have happy father's day. So can forgive him. Haha. But tudou lately don't know why... load so slow... watch a 43minutes video takes me like 1 and half hour of time. And that includes constant closing and opening new browsers. Gonna puke blood soon!!!
